workshops & courses

eflute academy

An ongoing programme of live-online tuition throughout the year, which has proved very popular. It's a smallish, very supportive and friendly group. Warm ups twice a week, tutorials, themed months, guest tutors, informal performance opportunities for all, a newsletter and more. Why not give us a try with a free session? See the eflute website for all the details.

Join Janna once a month online to improve your skills in all areas of flute-playing - be it scales, dynamics, tuning, breathing, vibrato, pieces, articulation... These sessions are flutes-out, practical, play-alongs with Janna.

Please email us at fluteschoollondon@gmail.com to sign up to any particular session and you will be sent a Zoom link and some music to download if appropriate - although all music is shared on screen.

These classes are just £8 per session (£4 students or discount) - unless you are in the eflute academy (in which case they are free). Payment can be made below via PayPal (or with BACS to our bank account - details here.)  All sessions can be viewed on a Zoom recording afterwards for those that can't make it (or if you wish to rewatch it) - we will send the link (for the same fee). Please just email to request this.

Next dates: all Saturdays 5 - 6pm
Dec 11th: Movts 1 & 4 from JS Bach's Trio Sonata in G (with playalongs)
January 8th 2022 - Fast chromatic scales
February 5th - Effective dynamics
March 5th - Ornaments
