Stapleford Flutes

Based in Cambridge, Stapleford Flutes is a friendly group of keen high-level amateur flute-players, started & run by Janna Hüneke.

For the first few years we rehearsed and performed at Stapleford Granary, the brand new arts centre near Cambridge which is where we got our name.   Stapleford Flutes put on a Christmas concert in December 2024 in aid of St Mary’s and St Michael’s church’s ‘re-imagining’ project. In March 2026, the ensemble was awarded an "exceptional" mark from the adjudicator at the CCMF festival.

 

Stapleford Flutes rehearses usually 6 times per term and always welcomes new players.
